I couldn't believe my luck when Christina said she'd model for me again. She was my second model ever for projection art and ended up in some of my favourite own works. She was keen to try more stuff and so was I: I'll be submitting the results over the next few days.
In this case, Christina is lit by a projected vector of the New Zealand $2 coin. The rows of feathers are what create the shadow on her face, and the circular Māori design falls across her shoulder...
The vector was a request of mine completed by local vectorist ~angel-a-
~fidelia has this thing where she puts flat, opaque materials like lace onto an overhead projector, blows it onto herself and photographs the results. I told her I'd do a black and white just for her, and thus I dedicate this deviation!
It's also my entry into *RestlessPhotographer's [link]""Monochrome Your World" contest. The top layer of this pic is a gradient map between #020201 and #a19d99 - the colours of the border.
No, it's part of the lighting. I lit the model with the projected image of a New Zealand $2 coin. There's no extensive manipulation here at all; this is what it looked like
for the tatoo did you make with photoshop?
Voting's now open at *RestlessPhotographer - it's done by note and you have to vote for three deviations from this list.
