I got myself a digital projector and ~lisameme and I tried it out at the end of our exhausting all-day shoot on Friday.
The projector is a Panasonic PT-AE900E (for those of you that means something to). The image is Earth from outer space. Cheers NASA for the image!
So digital projection works, it seems. The available light was much more than my analog experience and it was also much sharper. But you don't want to get too close because of visible scan-lines.
I'll have more soon and I'm keen to share. I also want to sit down and really figure this digital projection thing out proper so I can make stuff directly out of stock on dA. Remain seated.

Well, I actually looked at my projector, and it is a Toshiba DLP, a S25 actually. So I was wrong. Got some new work up using it...good ideas, I think, but I totally fucked up the ISO...argh. Not crisp like my four seasons shots...oh well. Learn.
